Klafs opens Dubai showroom

Germany’s Klafs has opened its first showroom for wellness and spas in the Middle East. Located in Dubai, the company will display new relaxation and regeneration products, thematically divided into ‘heat up’ and ‘cool down’ areas.

CEO Stefan Schöllhammer said the opening of the showroom – which covers a floor space of 400sq m (4,306sq ft) – was a “logical investment to meet the continued growing demand from the hotel industry and from private individuals”.

He noted that in a desert region, the showroom’s ‘Snow Paradise’ cabin would be a highlight. Featuring a “dream-like wintry landscape”, visitors are able to experience a cool-down at -10°C between sauna sessions. The cool down zone also features the ‘Polaris Ice Fountain’, tiled showers and a plunge pool.

In the heat up zone, Klafs is showcasing its new ‘Matteo Thun Edition Sauna and Steam Room’, which has just been launched. The full-height glazed front side panels and front of the sauna cabin, designed by the celebrity architect, open into the sauna cabin which is then flooded with incident light.

A large number of Klaf’s other spa products, such as its hamam, infrared heat cabin and ‘SSF’ pools, round out the range of exhibits in the zone.
